Freemasons... It's Not Difficult to Ruin a Man

Extract from Stephen Knight's book; The Brotherhood. - Christopher, a senior Whitehall Civil Servant and Freemason explained that Masonry's nationwide organisation of men from most walks of life provided one of the most efficient private intelligence networks ever imaginable.

Private information on anybody in the country could normally be accessed very rapidly through endless permutations of Masonic contacts - police, magistrates, solicitors, bank managers, Post Office staff, [very useful in supplying copies of a man's mail, and especially if you say the "target" is a sex offender - Julian Assange comes to mind [1]], doctors, government employee, bosses of firms and nationalised industries etc., and a dossier of personal data could be built up on anybody very quickly.

When the major facts of an individual's life were known, areas of vulnerability would become apparent.  Perhaps he is in financial difficulties; perhaps he has some social vice - if married he might retain a mistress or have proclivity for visiting prostitutes; perhaps there is something in his past he wishes keep buried, some guilty secret, a criminal offence [easily obtainable through Freemason police of doubtful virtue], or other blemish on his character: all these and more could be discovered via the wide-ranging Masons network of 600,000 contacts [2] [this number has perhaps increased by at least a third since this article was originally written in 1984, though it's normally accepted by the UGLE that there are 400,000 members in the UK, though as I say, I believe the figure to be much higher.  Perhaps Knight was also referring to other Freemasons further abroad, or other affiliations such as the Rotarians, Odd Fellows etc.], a great many of whom were disposed to do favours for one another because that had been their prime motives for joining.

Even decent Masons could often be conned into providing information on the basis that: "Brother Smith needs this to help the person involved".  The adversary would even sometimes be described as a fellow Mason to the Brother from whom information was sought perhaps someone with access to his bank manager or employer.

The good Mason would not go to the lengths of checking with Freemasons Hall whether or not this was so.  The "target" was presented as a "Brother" in distress by a fellow Freemason, especially a fellow Lodge member that would be enough for any upright member of the Craft.

Sometimes this information gathering process - often involving a long chain of Masonic contacts all over the country and possibly abroad - would be unnecessary.  Enough would be known in advance about the adversary to initiate any desired action against him.  I asked how this action might be taken. "Solicitors are very good at it" said Christopher. "Get your man involved in something legal - it need not be serious - and you have him".

Solicitors, I was told, are past masters at causing endless delays, generating useless paperwork, ignoring instructions, running up immense bills, misleading clients into taking decisions damaging to themselves, [and this I can vouch for, and one of the reasons I dislike and don't trust many people of the so called "˜legal fraternity'], Masonic police can harass, arrest on false charges, and plant evidence.

"A businessman in a small community or person in public office arrested for dealing in child pornography, for indecent exposure, or for trafficking in drugs is at the end of the line", said Christopher. "He will never work again. Some people have committed suicide after experiences of that kind".

Freemason's can bring about the situation where credit companies and banks withdraw credit facilities from individual clients and tradesmen, said my informant.  Bank can foreclose.  People who rely on the telephone for their work can be cut off for long periods.

Masonic employees of local authorities can arrange for a person's drains to be inspected and extensive damage to be reported, thus burdening the person with huge repair bills; workmen carrying out the job can find - in reality cause - further damage.  Again with regard to legal matters, a fair hearing is hard to get when a man in ordinary circumstances is in financial difficulties.

If he is trying to fight a group of unprincipled Freemasons skilled in using the "˜network' it will be impossible because "Masonic Department of Health and Social Security and Law Society officials can delay applications for Legal Aid endlessly. [3] Employers, if they are Freemasons or not can be given private information about a man who has made himself an enemy of Masonry.  At worst he will be dismissed or consistently passed over for promotion". Christopher added.

"Masonic doctors can also be used. But for some reason doctors seem to be the least corruptible men. Only the fighters have any hope of beating the system once it's at work against them", he told me. "Most people, fighters or not, are beaten in the end, though.

It's . . . you see, I ... you finish up not knowing who you can trust. You can get no help because your story sounds so paranoid that you are thought a crank, one of those nuts who think the whole world is a conspiracy against them.

It is a strange phenomenon.  By setting up a situation that most people will think of as fantasy, these people can poison every part of a person's life. If they give in they go under.

If they don't give in its only putting off the day because if they fight, so much unhappiness will be brought to the people around them that there will likely come a time when even their families turn against them out of desperation.

When that happens and they are without friends wherever they look, they become easy meat. The newspapers will not touch them. - There is no defence against an evil which only the victims and the perpetrators know exists"

A new cause that proposes a "˜new law',- requiring all MP's, MEP's, and other government dependant employees, to declare their membership of the Freemason's, - and that for their resignation from one of the two is to be forcibly required.

The cause was given a boost, on hearing the news that Portugal's Prime Minister, Pedro Passos Coelho, had announced on the 11th January 2012 that guidelines for the obligations of persons holding high positions in government, should disclose whether they belong to Masonic lodges.

This is partly what the cause is demanding; which is that their countries own leaders, adopt the very same kind of guidelines. The cause also wants public registers that list members of clubs, including secret societies, or societies with secrets, such in the case of the Freemasons.

Many in the political world, know of this long term problem, and what the cause is calling for, is not a new idea, as it's been widely, - or should I say; "˜more in house', - debated, both by the United Grand Lodge of England [UGLE], and our politicians.

Let us recall, when in 1998, the then Home Secretary, Jack Straw said: "Membership of secret societies such as Freemasonry could raise suspicions of impartiality and objectivity".

This is the causes main argument, as they agree with these views, and it most definitely does currently raise suspicions of impartiality and objectivity, as what we can see taking place all around us, seems to reflect these suspicions are justified.

As it should not be permitted that such persons be oath bound, to two separate alliances, that in many a time can prove to be both detrimental and counterproductive to the governments and people's own interests, i.e. saving the public purse billions of pounds, dollars and Euro's etc. from either being illegally embezzled or incompetently mishandled.

This why the cause is calling on all our politicians, and urging them to help put through a proposal to the their governments, such as House of Commons and the House of Lords here in the UK, whereas in the USA, it would be Congress, and Russia, the Duma etc. - requiring new laws and regulations be brought into power, that require all politicians, such as Senators, Presidents, PM's, MP's and MEP's, civil servants, and members of the judiciary, police and military etc., alongside and including the financial world, i.e. bankers, stock-brokers, trust fund managers and insurance and pension scheme brokers etc., with extra attention to detail paid to those kinds of members who sit on review boards and public inquiry's, - and like those 13 members of the British Army Management Board, when in 1991, they were "˜all' Freemason's.

The board comprised of a mix of politicians, and top army officers, - this board, and many more like them, exercises authority over all forms of appointment's, ranking and promotion in the army and procurement deals and contracts that are awarded to companies well known for their "˜illegal' activities, and whom have been fined millions of pounds for such offences, - such as BAE Systems, - and perhaps now we know why it's going to cost the tax-payer to build Britain's controversial new aircraft carriers £7bn, compared with the £5.2bn cost disclosed by the Ministry of Defence in 2010, - and up from the £3.9bn budget announced when the contract was originally signed in July 2008.

The BBC reported on the 28th April that; one defence industry veteran said the final bill was bound to be nearer £10bn, though a government official insisted that was way over the top.

But here's the real problem, because this is just "˜one' project out of 1000's, - our roads, railways, social housing, schools, municipal buildings, hospitals and the whole NHS service and many other groups, organisations and establishments, - that are too overlooked and run by a handful of "˜trusted persons', whom probably are still to this day members of a fraternity that admits it's a society with many secrets.

This request that members of the government and their related bodies should have to declare their involvement with the Freemason's is not new, and in some cases and professions; "˜voluntary declaration' is asked, - though who's policing it, and why volunteer if it's not a legal requirement?

The crux of the matter is, - and for real transparency to begin to happen, then we the public have the right to know, who is, and who isn't a member of a secret society whilst working for our governments, and more important, their resignations from either their appointed positions, or their membership from the "˜secret society', such as the Freemasons.

A law is required, so that a complete list and register of names are available for public scrutiny. - If you too would like this kind of public register available for us all to see, then it's imperative, - you join this cause:

Mr. Knight weaves a tale from his imagination using many 'unnamed sources' whom he claims were at the highest levels of Freemasonry. One such example is a "West End Mason". Ironically, that person - whom, like all of his sources, Knight claims needed anonymity, has identified himself online as being James Todd who publishes an online rant aptly called "VOMIT" ('Victims of Masonic Ill-Treatment'). Todd, curiously, was never an English Mason but rather joined in Scotland and was a member there for a short period. He claims that he was forced to join the organization and, clearly, hated it. Suffice it to say, no one is forced to join Freemasonry (particularly in Scotland) and Todd's attitudes and age (not to mention his abiding hatred for politicians and police) are hardly conducive to an honest presentation. Using sources such as this to support his work puts Mr. Knight on a very shaky foundation indeed.

From the Southern Baptist Convention's Study on Freemasonry we learn that Knight rejected the Christian faith, became a Sannyasin (a religious belief we've found precious little about), and changed his name to Swami Puja Deval in 1983. He died of a (proven) brain tumor in 1985 but anti-Masons enjoy hinting that he was somehow murdered to silence him. (The claim of Masonic actions against those who speak against Freemasonry is easily disproven by the continued lives of other anti-Masonic authors - as well as the death of Masonic authors and historians!)

Even today, UK politicians looking for a 'hook' on which to garner favor will use this book as their crutch. Imagined and/or phony characters painted to look their worst so the author could sell yet another book and appeal to people's fears, this one succeeded and now is the false basis for many anti-Masonic rants.
