Obama's Gestapo

Josef Stalin used his secret police to handle the dirty work...  Adolf Hitler used his Gestapo in ruthless attack on innocents...  Barack Obama?...  He is using the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) as an integral part of his plan for the destruction of America.

Back in March, Barack Obama circumvented the process and appointed Craig Becker to serve on the National Labor Relations Board. This move bypassed the Senate and was part of 15 nominees our Dictator-in-Chief planted as an integral part of his plan for the destruction of America.

From Politico:

President Barack Obama has elected to bypass the Senate and unilaterally install 15 nominees, including the controversial Craig Becker to serve on the National Labor Relations Board, a move sure to infuriate Republicans.

The decision to install Becker — who was rejected by a GOP filibuster last month — is certain to inflame Republicans opposed to his ties to labor unions. Obama also installed Mark Pearce — another nominee favored by unions — to serve on the board.

What we were hearing was that this move was part of the plan to assure the EFCA (Employee Free Choice Act) misnomer, moved forward and assured that employees happy with their relations at work would be bullied, intimidated and forced into allowing unions in their workplace.

From BigGovernment:

In January AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka told an audience at the National Press Club he was confident a version of EFCA would pass by the end of the first quarter of 2010. Seeing as it is now March and there is no sign of EFCA, in any version, being voted on, this prediction is very unlikely to be correct.

The different versions of EFCA lead to the next failure of Democrats to deliver to Big Labor. Craig Becker, who was an AFL-CIO, SEIU, and ACORN lawyer, was President Obama's nominee to the National Labor Relations Board. Unions saw Becker as their white knight in the card check battle. Becker thought, through his position on the NLRB, he could help bring about card check administratively and bypass those pesky congressional votes.

In February Becker failed to receive the 60 votes needed in the Senate and was not confirmed. Richard Trumka is now demanding the President bypass the Senate and appoint Becker by recess appointment.

What we were not hearing is that the NLRB was planning on waging war against Right-to-Work states, including South Carolina.

From Foxnews:

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers asserts that during a 2008 strike at Boeing's factory in Seattle, company executives threatened they would open their next assembly line in a right-to-work state in retaliation for workers walking off the job.

With the new factory scheduled to open this summer, the union filed an unfair labor charge with the NLRB, claiming Boeing engaged in unfair labor practices by proceeding with the South Carolina facility. The NLRB agreed and filed a complaint against Boeing.

"This is nothing more than a political favor for the unions who are supporting President Obama's re-election campaign," Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., said in a statement. "Unfortunately, it comes at the expense of hundreds of jobs in South Carolina and thousands of jobs nationwide."

"There is no doubt that if the National Labor Relations Board's claim against Boeing moves forward, it will have a chilling effect on job growth in my state and in right-to-work states across the country," he said.

The irony of the NLRB, Barack's union legislative arm, to attack a right-to-work state like South Carolina should come as no surprise. This started in March with Craig Becker's appointment. If you want thuggish behavior, you put thugs in charge. This complaint by the NLRB could very well cause Boeing to shut down its North Charleston, SC factory (not even completed yet) costing an immediate 1000 jobs in South Carolina and the outlook of thousands more after completion.

And that's the goal. Force the right-to-work states like South Carolina to suffer from job losses and the lack of new jobs by forcing companies to operate in unionized states.

It's nothing less than a declaration of economic war by the Obama administration.

The EFCA is nothing more than a method to get around secret balloting to allow union organizers the opportunity to intimidate any employees that vote against union organization. The NLRB complaint is a legal maneuver to keep companies from hiring non-union workers regardless of the negative economic impact. The unions in Washington state, where Boeing is headquartered, have gone on strike 4 times since 1989. One of those times they shut down the company for 58 days resulting in a 1.8 billion dollar loss.

Here's a little background from BigGovernment.com:

The Background...

In 1989, the International Association of Machinists engaged in a 48-day strike against Boeing which caused the company to miss orders and resulted in sales being $2 billion less than projected.

In 1995, the IAM struck again—this time lasting 69 days.

In 2005, while not as lengthy as prior strikes, the IAM struck Boeing for four weeks.

In 2008, the IAM struck Boeing for 58 days and cost the company $1.8 billion.

In 2009, with orders for its new 787 having been put in jeopardy Boeing officials began exploring alternatives to having to deal with union strikes every three or four years. One alternative was to talk to the union about obtaining longer contracts with no-strike clauses and the other was to begin searching for location for a second production line outside of the Puget Sound area. It decided to do both.

What the Obama Gestapo is also not telling you is that Boeing has actually increased the union jobs in Washington state by 2000 workers SINCE announcing the new 787 Dreamliner line in South Carolina.

But that evidently is not enough for the money hungry goons running the unions.

Now maybe it's just me, but it appears that unions would like nothing more than for companies to risk continually losing money by being forced into unionization.

Not only have these unions filled their coffers with dues, created pension blobs and been a huge part of the woes the last few years suffered by the automotive and other industries but they seem hell-bent on driving these employers to the brink of bankruptcy and in many cases, they have.

Barack Obama, using his personal thugs, seems just the person to get that done.
