In the weeks after nine members of  the Michigan-based Christian militia group, Hutaree, were arrested for plotting to harm police officers, Allentown-based band Poker Face has come under fire from the Anti-Defamation League. (ADL needs to go find 'something' constructive to do and mind their own business... ~ S.I.A.)

Hutaree uses a song from Poker Face in a training video and Barry Morrison, ADL regional director for eastern Pennsylvania, says the band advocates an anti-government and anti-immigration ideology.

"The rhetoric being fed to them through the violence of these songs are pretty violent," Morrison said.
Paul Topete, singer and guitarist for the four-man band, refutes the ADL claims and states his position as being opposed to illegal immigration and government corruption.
"We don't fear where the truth might lead us," Topete said. "We love the truth. Remember, only lies need laws to support it."

Topete claims that the only connection to the two-decade-old band and Hutaree was to grant permission for the song's use.
