Wake up America, Your Dreams Have Become a Nightmare!

When we finally awake from our peaceful sleep we will realize the ownership and control of our country was taken from us... We are a defeated and conquered nation.

While we were sleeping 16,613 of our wealth generating companies have permanently slipped into foreign ownership. The further profits, which formerly supplied us with our strength and comforts, will now belong to our foreign masters who have stealthily taken control of us in an economics war. We are now for all intents and purposes as we were before 1776: an American Colony.

We haven't realized it yet, as our foreign masters are good to us - for the time being. They are giving us all the money and merchandise we desire on credit, just as we supplied them after conquering them in a military war. Shouldn't we be wary though? They may not always be as good to us in the future as we were to them in the past.

They have harbored much resentment toward us due to the way we acted, lording over them and telling them how to run their government. Most of our leaders are still sleeping, living in a dreamland where America remains a superpower.

Our new foreign masters have stood on the sidelines and told us, "Go ahead, beat your brains out fighting your weakened state, it will be easy to control you. We will give you all the bullets that you want. Now you must import them from us, as you no longer have the factories or manufacturing base to produce them yourselves.

Our leader, President Barack Obama, doesn't seem to realize realizes what has happened to us. He is inexperienced. Our former leader acted irresponsibly and created our present disastrous plight. We must be certain our new leader is fully awake and recognizes the dilapidated condition the United States is in. Obama must proceed cautiously, not unilaterally and with the guidance of the other branches of our government.

Americans must say "never again!" We must make changes in our political system and establish guidelines. It is imperative that our leaders are closely monitored. We cannot endure another bad president for four years.

We have to open our eyes and awake from our incapacitating sleep. Our country is slipping from our grasps and is no longer the world's beacon of hope. We must hold our leaders to a higher standard and make them accountable for their actions if we are ever to rise from our current ashes.
