Constitutional Justice Requires Postponing the 2008 Election!

We must postpone the election of 2008 to keep the President and Vice President in office to meet the provision of the Constitution that only a sitting President and Vice President can be impeached and removed from office.  Six months ain't gonna do it.  We must not allow these two criminals to escape into civilian status.  They must be made to suffer the humiliation of being removed from office and hung, according to law.

Given that George Bush can declare martial law and suspend the 2008 election whenever he feels like it, we the people have the right to do the same (there are over 300 million of us and one of him) and keep Bush and Cheney in office until they can be impeached and removed.  We must make that our first and only priority.  We must force Congress to stop all other business, start impeachment and removal proceedings immediately and keep at that and only that until it is accomplished, however long it takes.  We have nothing more important than that to do.  If we have to postpone the election until we can do that, then that is what we must do.  We've got to quit pussyfootin' around and get this done.

George Bush and Dick Cheney have so thoroughly subverted our Constitution and the laws, committed so many military, political, economic, civil and criminal violations of the law and gotten our country into such a totally unacceptable state on all of those fronts that Jesus Christ, himself, as President, couldn't overcome the godawful mess that they have left us with.  Poor old Obama doesn't have a chance of straightening this out by becoming President.

One or two terms is not going to come close to being enought time to overcome the mess that Bush and Cheney have created.  The best we can do is to hang on to these suckers as long as it takes to do what needs to be done, hang them.  Shut down all actions of Congress until that is accomplished.  Then, we can put a real Mission Accomplished banner across the front of the White House.

I can understand why Nancy Pelosi's position, unmentioned, is that impeachment is off the table.  If Bush and Cheney were impeached and removed, she would be next in line to be President.  She would be participating in a process that would make her President, which would appear unseemly.  And, I agree with her that she shouldn't be President, as not only has she not resisted Bush's crimes, she has actively gone along with him in committing them by providing the means.

When Bush and Cheney are impeached and removed, Pelosi must resign immediately as President, allowing Senator Robert Byrd as President pro tempore of the Senate to become President.  Since he would not have been duly elected, we would then, whenever that is, hold elections for a new President.  We can afford to wait however long it takes to get this done.  Nothing else is more important.

A President only becomes significant in our country's and the world's affairs when he departs from the Constitutional powers and duties of the President and instead becomes a criminal and engages in criminal activity, as George Bush and Dick Cheney have done.  The Constitution provides for no criminal activity by the President.  George Bush and Dick Cheney have committed just about every crime they can think of against our country.  No other President and Vice President even comes close.

George Bush and Dick Cheney have fulfilled, to the best of their ability, as many of the dearest held wishes, hopes and dreams of the Republican lack of ethics and morals, the cheating, lying, deceiving, stealing, cronyism, corruption, bribing, fakery, hypocrisy, spying, torture and the total disregard for the welfare of anyone who is not a Republican.

We can well afford to have anyone, unless they are a Republican, become President, as no one can possibly do as much damage as George Bush and Dick Cheney have done.  We must keep in mind that George Bush and Dick Cheney committed their crimes, proudly, flagrantly, as proud Republicans, representing the best methods of gaining wealth and position at the cost of others, which are the methods of the worst political ideology ever to be inflicted on our country, Republicanism.  The Republicans don't inhabit our country, they infest it.

We must show the people of our country and the people of the world who have both suffered from the depredations of these two criminals that we have the integrity, the strength of charcter, the moral and ethical convictions to take these two criminals to the nearest tree and hang them.

If we won't, don't, or say we can't do that, we're a pretty poor excuse for a country that espouses freedom, democracy and the rule of law.  Right now, because of George Bush and Dick Cheney, those concepts are a pathetic joke in our country and to the rest of the world.  I care little about the opinion of the rest of the world, but the pathetic joke that Bush and Cheney have made of our country really pisses me off.  I'm not going to get over that until justice is done.
