McCain - The War and Ron Paul

In this clip from December, McCain claims he speaks for the troops -- not Ron, who dwarfed his competition in donations from American troops.

McCain utters the typical early-2004 GOP propaganda, even though nowadays, even conservatives like Glenn Beck admit it's about oil -- at best -- and the whole "we fight them there so we don't have to fight them here" excuse hasn't been credible to most Americans for years.

John McCain is definitely the anti-Paul, on foreign policy and in virtually every other way. McCain seems to despise the Constitution and America's founding traditions, for one thing. At the time of the ratification, McCain would have been the one accusing Hamilton of extreme liberalism and harboring excessive suspicions of government power. The nationalists and anti-federalists would have allied against this man as they did no other foe but the British.
